Actor. Performed at the Theatre-Royal Haymarket in England (his homeland) before coming to America in 1792. Mr. Chambers first appeared on an American stage in 1792 at the Southwark in Philadelphia. He married Miss Charlotte Sully on June 1, 1793, thereby creating a familial connection between himself and one of Ricketts star performing groups: the Sullys.
